Rezon Bio’s story is one of transformation and continuity. Its foundations lie in the legacy of Polpharma, a company that has shaped the Polish pharmaceutical industry since 1935. Recognizing the growing importance of biologics, Polpharma initiated its investment in these modalities nearly 15 years ago, laying the groundwork for advanced R&D and manufacturing capabilities in this complex field. As the biologics division matured, Polpharma Biologics was established as a dedicated organization focused on the development of biosimilars, advancing multiple programs toward global commercialization. Over the last decade, this team has built world-class facilities and capabilities from analytical and process development to commercial-scale GMP manufacturing and achieved key milestones including successful FDA, EMA, and MHRA inspections. Two commercial and multiple clinical programs reflect a continued track record of success.
In 2025, Rezon Bio was established as an independent biologics CDMO headquartered in Poland, focused solely on providing end-to-end services for biopharma and biotech companies. The company’s two state-of-the-art facilities in Gdańsk and Duchnice-Warsaw now form a powerful dual-site platform offering flexibility, scalability and regulatory readiness.
